We searched all three Sacramento plans' directories for gum specialists. Liberty takes gold with two. Health Net and California Dental Network (DentaQuest) tie for silver with one each. It is the same one.
The regulator cited a failure to adequately consider an enrollee's grievance. The case concerns dental coverage people paid premiums for in 2023, before the company held a Medi-Cal contract.
The State's instructions to every Medi-Cal dental plan: 5 business days for a routine request, 72 hours for an urgent one, and a letter to you within 2 business days of the decision.
Health Net told the State it hired Timothy Martinez, DMD, effective 1 March 2022. A Sacramento County committee list dated August 2026 still names him as Health Net's representative.
