Who runs your plan

Two names, one plan

Health Net's name is on the card. Since 1 July 2025, DentaQuest has run Health Net's Medi-Cal dental plan, and another of the three plans trades as DentaQuest. Complaints still go to Health Net.

Silence is a no

When your dentist asks your plan to approve treatment, the State sets the deadline. If the plan does not decide in time, that counts as a denial, and you can appeal it.
